Engraving

Engraving is the physical incision (cutting) of the substrate and then in-filling with colour. The main advantages of engraving are as follows:- legends are far more durable (ideal for outside use) and legends can be in-filled with any colour to meet specific requirements or colour match existing products. Engraving substrates include stainless steels, solid brass, aluminiums and bi-coloured engraving laminates. We highly recommend engraving for highly polished materials such as mirror polish stainless steel or brass due to the abrassive nature of the cleaning of such materials.
